Attorney Patrick Banks strives to help clients achieve peace of mind by identifying each client’s goals and devising customized estate plans to avoid potential conflicts. His primary focus is protecting his clients’ families and preparing them for the future.
Unfortunately, conflicts can and do arise when disgruntled family members feel that they were not properly compensated after a parent passes away. As an experienced estate dispute litigator, Attorney Patrick Banks also vigorously represents clients in estate disputes in Surrogate’s Court through out Northern New Jersey.
Before starting his own law firm, Attorney Patrick Banks practiced law for several years at large law firms focusing on litigation where he learned creative ways to identify and solve problems facing large organizations. During this time, he represented clients in multi-million dollar litigation in the federal District Courts of New Jersey and New York as well as the the stat courts of New York and New Jersey.
While representing large corporation was both challenging and rewarding in its own way, Mr. Banks decided that his law degree would be better used in representing individuals and their challenges. To that end, he left the large law firm world in 2007 to build his own law practice focusing on represent individuals in estate planning and administration as well as estate dispute litigation matters. His background in litigation has helped him successfully represent victims of nursing home and long term care facility negligence.
Attorney Patrick Banks graduated from Villanova University with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and from Seton Hall University of Law in 2000 with a Juris Doctorate Degree.
